It is Heaven’s law and earth’s principle to believe in God and know God, and today—during an age when God incarnate personally does His work—is a particularly good time to know God. Satisfying God is achieved upon the foundation of understanding God’s will, and to understand God’s will, it is necessary to know God. This knowledge of God is the vision that a believer must have; it is the basis of man’s belief in God. If man does not have this knowledge, then his belief in God is vague, and lies in empty theory. Though it is the resolution of people like this to follow God, they obtain nothing. All those who obtain nothing in this stream are the ones who will be eliminated, and they are the people who are merely doing the bare minimum.

The work of managing mankind is divided into three stages, which means that the work of saving mankind is divided into three stages. If you are without the judgment, chastisement, and trials of God, and if God has not made you suffer, then, to be honest, you do not truly love God.

Why do you believe in God? Most people are confounded by this question. They always have two entirely different viewpoints about the practical God and the God in heaven, which shows that they believe in God not in order to obey, but to receive certain benefits, or to escape the suffering of disaster. Only then are they somewhat obedient, but their obedience is conditional, it is for the sake of their own personal prospects, and forced upon them. So: why do you believe in God? As I go through the passage of God’s words, “Do You Know? God Has Done a Great Thing Among Men,” I cannot help but recall my experience two years ago of breaking free from the binds of rumors and returning before God.

My family and I all live in Hong Kong. My father-in-law and brother-in-law (my husband’s younger brother) all believe in the Lord Jesus. My brother-in-law is a pastor in a church, so brothers and sisters from the church often come to our home to visit. They pray together and sing hymns of praise to the Lord. In December 2014, a friend of mine told me that she also believed in the Lord…. Influenced by my family and friends, I was also somewhat interested in matters to do with believing in the Lord. One day not long afterward, I met Sister Peipei from the church. She was easy going and friendly. When she learned that my family and friends all believed in the Lord, she was very happy and invited me to visit her home and introduced me to Sister Chen Hui. Over the course of several meetings, Sister Chen told me the truth about God’s creation and domination of all things, as well as the origin of Satan, etcetera. I was deeply fascinated by these words and felt extremely happy. I really liked to listen to her share her experience and knowledge of believing in God and really wanted to share this happiness with others. One day, I could not contain myself and so told my family my opinions about wanting to believe in God. The news quickly spread to my brother-in-law and he called and asked why I suddenly believed in God. He also said, “There is a church called Eastern Lightning, and they are testifying everywhere that the Lord Jesus has already returned and have stolen many good sheep from every faction. Don’t make contact with them arbitrarily….” Afterward he questioned me again and again as to whether the evangelist had given me a book and repeatedly told me to be especially careful about believing in God. My brother-in-law’s words kept going around in my head until I felt distraught. On the one hand, my brother-in-law opposed me finding a different church. On the other hand, I really enjoyed what Sister Chen said about believing in God. I was in such a dilemma and did not know whether or not to continue making contact with Sister Chen.

Right at that time, I vaguely heard someone say, “The Lord has been incarnated in China.” I was just going to investigate what that was all about, but our leader said, “That is a heresy, a cult. If you follow them, you’ll never have good days. They will take away your child, hack off your arms and legs, and ruin your family….” After hearing the leader’s words, I made up my mind that I must stand the testimony for the Lord and not be deceived by the heresy or cult.

To bear testimony to God and shame the great red dragon you must have a principle, and a condition: In your heart you must love God, and enter into the words of God. If you do not enter into the words of God, then you will have no way of shaming Satan. Through the growth of your life, you renounce the great red dragon and bring utter humiliation upon it, and only then is the great red dragon truly shamed. The more you are willing to put the words of God into practice, the greater the proof of your love of God and loathing of the great red dragon; the more you obey the words of God, the greater the proof of your longing for the truth.

How does God incarnating to do the work of judgment bring to an end mankind’s belief in the vague God and the dark age of Satan’s dominion?
