Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Only Christ of the Last Days Can Give Man the Way of Eternal Life”

The Church of Almighty God, Almighty God, Eastern Lightning
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
"Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? you have the words of eternal life” (John 6:68).
"If you truly wish to gain the way of eternal life, and if you are voracious in your search for it, then first answer this question: Where is God today? Perhaps you’ll reply that God lives in heaven, of course—He wouldn’t be living in your home, would He? Perhaps you might say, God obviously lives among all things. Or you might say that God lives in each person’s heart, or that God is in the spiritual world. I don’t deny any of this, but I must clarify the issue. It isn’t totally correct to say that God lives in the heart of man, but neither is it completely wrong.

The Church of Almighty God | Letter Replying Question from Amanda:

Question from Amanda:
One day, I watched a choir video of the Church of Almighty God on the timeline of a Facebook friend. I was attracted by the hymns, so I searched for some movies of your church to watch. And I found that the word expressed by Almighty God truly contains the truth. However, several days ago, my pastor saw I was browsing the website of the Church of Almighty God, then he told me that your church has been condemned and persecuted by the government of your country all the time, and he prevented me from investigating it. Faced with this matter, I feel slightly confused. I think we believe in God, so we should listen to God’s words instead of man’s. Otherwise, we are very easily to repeat the Pharisees’ mistakes of resisting the Lord Jesus. So after seeking in front of the Lord, I decided to write this letter to you, with the purpose of seeking the following questions: If what the Church of Almighty God preaches is the true way, why is the CCP government so against it? Why do religious leaders condemn it with such fervor? When treating the matter that the Church of Almighty God is openly testifying the return of the Lord, why would such servants of God have the same opinions and attitudes as those of the CCP government? What’s the reason behind this?

With Life Hanging by a Thread, the Hand of God Came to the Rescue

With Life Hanging by a Thread, the Hand of God Came to the Rescue

“If I were not saved by God, I would still be drifting in this world, struggling hard and painfully in sin; every day gets bleak and hopeless. If I were not saved by God, I’d still be crushed below the devil’s feet, snared in sin and its enjoyments, ignorant of what my life would be. If I were not saved by God, I’d be without my blessings here today, much less know why we should live on or the meaning of our lives. If I were not saved by God, I’d still be confused about my faith, still in empty space passing the days, unaware in whom to put my faith. I have finally understood God’s loving hand holds mine as we go.I would never go and lose my way ’cause I’m on this brilliant course to stay” (“If I Were Not Saved by God” in Follow the Lamb and Sing New Songs). Whenever I hear this hymn of experience, I am always deeply moved. If it weren’t for God saving me, as described in the hymn, I might still be wandering aimlessly in the world, tiring myself out chasing after money, even to the point that I would long since have lost my life and died abroad in a foreign land …

I was born in a poor, remote mountain area where we have burned incense and worshiped Buddha for many generations. There are Buddhist temples all over the land where all the families would go to burn incense; no one had ever believed in God. In 1995, my wife and I were in another part of the country where we believed in the Lord Jesus; after we returned we began sharing the gospel and the number of people who accepted it slowly grew to over 100 people. Because more and more people were believing in God, it alarmed the local government. One day in 1997, the police summoned me to go to the local police station, where the chief of the County Public Security Bureau, the chief of the National Security Bureau, the chief of the Bureau of Religion and the head of the police station as well as a few police officers were waiting for me.

Attend the Feast of the Kingdom of Heaven "Break the Shackles and Run"

Lee Chungmin was an elder of a church in Seoul, South Korea. For more than twenty years, he served the Lord fervently and concentrated on studying the Bible. Taught by the words and deeds of his religious leaders, he thought that believing in the Lord amounts to faith in the Bible and faith in the Bible is exactly the same as believing in the Lord. He believed that as long as he clung to the Bible, he could be raptured into the kingdom of heaven. These conceptions, like shackles, tightly restrained him from believing in and following God. Consequently, Lee Chungmin never thought to investigate Almighty God’s work of the last days….

The Church of Almighty God | Realizing I’ve Been Walking the Path of the Pharisees

8. Realizing I’ve Been Walking the Path of the Pharisees

Wuxin    Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province
Something we have always discussed in previous communions is the paths walked by Peter and Paul. It is said that Peter paid attention to knowing himself and God, and was someone God approved, while Paul only paid attention to his work, reputation and status, and was someone God despised. I have always been afraid of walking Paul’s path, which is why I normally often read God’s words about Peter’s experiences to see how he came to know God. After living like this for a while, I felt I had become more obedient than before, my desire for reputation and status had dimmed, and that I had gotten to know myself a little. At this time, I believed that even though I was not completely on Peter’s path, it could be said that I had touched the edge of it, and at least it meant I was not heading down Paul’s path. However, I would be shamed by the revelations of God’s word.
